As Managing Partner of Elusive Tiger for nearly 15 years, Marnie Valley has helped shape the company into a trusted recruiting partner for organizations across the creative, entertainment, marketing, technology, healthcare, and professional services industries.

Marnie brings a unique blend of recruiting, operations, therapy, and life coaching experience to her work, supported by a master’s degree in psychology. That background gives her a deeper understanding of people, communication, motivation, and transition, all of which are central to successful recruiting. She understands that hiring is not just about filling a role. It is about listening closely, reading the room, understanding what both sides truly need, and helping people make decisions with clarity and confidence.

While Brad has long been the face of the company, Marnie has been the driving force behind much of what makes Elusive Tiger successful. Wearing many hats throughout the years, she has led operations, managed client relationships, developed recruiting strategies, overseen business operations, and partnered closely with clients and candidates to ensure every search is handled with care and integrity.

Brad Byrd

Brad Byrd is the founder and Head Tiger at Elusive Tiger, specializing in recruiting, staffing, and strategic talent placement across entertainment, legal, technology, marketing, advertising, games, and brand-driven industries.

A Syracuse University graduate, Brad has spent more than 20 years managing and placing A-level talent, with a particular focus in Los Angeles and New York. He is also the founder of RecruiTech, a successful recruiting technology company built around the same core insight that drives his work today: great hiring depends on both smart systems and human judgment.

Brad believes finding A-level talent is only the first step. The real challenge is knowing how to engage, nurture, guide, and close the right candidate.

His approach goes beyond resume matching. He works closely with companies to understand their culture, goals, hiring priorities, and long-term growth strategy, then connects them with candidates who can move the business forward.
